Child Passenger Safety Continuing Education Credits
Lifesavers Conference includes the opportunity for attendees to receive all required Child Passenger Safety (CPS) technical continuing education units (CEUs) at this year’s conference.
In addition to CEU sessions, attendees can alternatively earn a CEU by visiting child restraint manufacturer exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall.
Additional Child Passenger Safety workshops will offer Community Education credit, which is also required for CPS Technician and CPS Technician-Instructor recertification.
The recertification requirements can be reviewed here:
https://cert.safekids.org/i-am-a-tech/recertificationTo document workshops attended for CEUs or Community Education, along with manufacturer exhibitor visits, preprinted CPS Passports will be provided.
Technicians must stay for the entire workshop and have their passport stamped on the way out to be eligible for credit.
Technicians should keep their passports after Lifesavers in the event they are selected for a CEU audit at time of recertification.
Replacement passports will not be available after the conference ends.
