Since its founding in 1902, AAA has been an advocate for motorists and travelers, safer roads and vehicles, and better educated drivers. Today, AAA provides more than 64 million members with automotive, travel, insurance, and financial services through its federation of 27 motor clubs and more than 1,000 branch offices across North America.
The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety is a nonprofit, charitable research and education organization dedicated to preventing traffic deaths and injuries by conducting research into their causes and educating the public about strategies to prevent crashes and reduce injuries when they do occur. Drawing on both in-house resources and the work of leading experts, AAA and its Foundation’s work generate concrete recommendations for preventing injuries and deaths on our roads.
